SUMMER CAMP,
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA

By Dasha Kabanova

Today was the last day of the torturous two week camp. After huffing and puffing, the kids of VB look strong and ready to take the ice on a whole new level. Everyone at Virginia beach got closer, it became one big family. This was the 6th successful year of Virginia Beach.

I really like it and I would definitely come again. You get sore but it’s worth when you see your muscles and abs!!

I would definitely come again. You are really sore for the first few days, but as you work through the camp is less of a torture camp and more of a hang out with your friends camp.  We still work hard but it’s easier to work hard with your friends.

I’ve been here every single year. Of course I would come back!  The company is always great and I love the people that help make it possible every year.  The dedication that it takes to put this camp together is amazing and ironically enough very close to the amount of work the skaters put forth in the actual camp.  My fellow skaters and friends make the camp enjoyable and keep me interested and coming back each year.  I love them like my siblings.

Zach Culp
I would come again because it’s fun (but my ankles hurt)

Chaim Hayward
I would come here because it’s fun to play on the computer.

I would love to come back because right after you fly home and skate on the ice, you’re like a whole different person. It’s so much easier, so it makes more fun. Also, I wouldn’t see myself skate in any competitions without this training camp because this camp is the ticket that  gets you through a whole successful year.

Alexei (the coach)
I think this was one of the best and easiest camps that I have coached. I was worried because half of the camp consisted of first time kids, but the kids were great and were ready for the hard work. I know it wasn’t easy for them, but on every exercise they tried very hard. All that they did will show when they skate!

There ya go! CYA tomorrow, ON MY BIRTHDAY!!! DASHA
