What is Scrip?  Scrip is substitute money - gift cards or gift certificates from national and local retailers.

How does it work?  Participating retailers sell gift cards upfront at a discounted rate and you redeem them at full face value.  The club keeps the difference.  It is a fundraising program that works while you shop for things you are going to purchase anyway.

For a list of participating retailers and their discounted rate go to www.glscrip.com

To order scrip or to find out more call Fara Stanley at 493-2792.

PREMIER FIRST DANCE TEAM JUNIOR NATIONALS RESULTS

Laura Leatherwood and Jim Albright, partnering each other for the dance test, each passed all three dances of the Preliminary Dance Test on their first try on Friday, December 9, 2005.  They began skating together in June of 2005 and are the first ever dance team from Premier FSC.  Because couple dance was not offered at Omaha Winterfestival this year, they will compete in solo dance (most likely against each other!) for their first competition.  Later on this coming Spring they will have the opportunity to compete together as a dance team.  Coach Sharon Sanders says; "I couldn't be prouder of these two students.  They have worked so hard together in lessons and in practice and to read the nice comments from the judges was the icing on the cake to their successful passing."
